Retail installation in Copenhagen
Window displays, overnight resets, fixtures and derig in Copenhagen. Our base in Albertslund is 20 minutes from central Copenhagen.
Working in Copenhagen.
Copenhagen is where most international brands open their first Danish store, and where most of our night work happens. The main shopping streets, Strøget, Amagertorv, Købmagergade and Østergade, are pedestrian streets with strict delivery times, narrow access and buildings that are often a century old or more. The department stores and centres, Magasin, Illum, Field's and Fisketorvet, each have their own house rules for deliveries, permits and work outside opening hours.
Access and deliveries
On the pedestrian streets, vehicle access is limited to early morning delivery windows. We plan installs around those windows, unload quickly and park legally, so the crew is not interrupted by a parking problem in the middle of the night.
Old buildings
Many flagship stores are in listed or older buildings, with uneven floors, thick masonry walls and restrictions on drilling. We check the building before the install and agree fixing methods with you and, where needed, the landlord.
From our warehouse
Our warehouse in Albertslund is around 20 minutes from the city centre at night. Kits and fixtures delivered there can be brought into the city on the night of the install, so nothing has to be stored in a small store's back room.
What we do in Copenhagen.
- Flagship windows on Strøget and Amagertorv, changed overnight for each campaign
- Department store concessions in Magasin and Illum, built and reset to house rules
- Centre stores in Field's and Fisketorvet, installed between closing and the morning delivery window
- Pop-ups in centres and empty street units
- Derigs and returns packed for carriers to warehouses abroad
- Emergency fixes when something breaks in a window during trading
Getting kits into the city.
The hardest part of a Copenhagen install is often not the install itself but getting the kit there. Pedestrian streets have narrow delivery windows, parking is tight, and older buildings rarely have goods lifts.
Our approach is to receive the kit in our warehouse in Albertslund before the night, check it, and bring it into the city in one trip, loaded in the order it will be built. The crew unloads quickly, the van leaves the street, and the work starts on time.
Copenhagen questions.
Can you work on Strøget at night?
Yes. Most of our Copenhagen windows are installed after closing, and we plan deliveries around the pedestrian street rules.
Can you install in Magasin, Illum or the large centres?
Yes. We follow each store's or centre's rules for access, permits and work outside opening hours.
How quickly can you get to a store in Copenhagen?
Our base is around 20 minutes from the city centre. For emergencies, call +45 93 84 13 33.
Booking a Copenhagen install.
For a planned campaign, two to three weeks' notice is ideal: it gives time to receive the kit, confirm access with the store and reserve the night. Shorter notice is often possible, especially for single windows.
For rollouts with several Copenhagen stores, we group stores by area and opening hours, so one crew can complete two or three stores in a night. Each store still gets its own photo report.
