Painting services
Stores, showrooms, offices, warehouses and premises before handover. We paint at night, at weekends or before opening, protect everything around us, and leave no mess behind.

Painting without closing the business.
Scuffed walls and old brand colours make a good store look tired long before the fixtures are worn out.
Store walls take a lot of wear: trolleys, fixtures being moved, customers leaning, years of campaign graphics stuck on and taken off. A repaint is often the cheapest way to make a store look looked-after again, and it is usually required when a brand changes its colours or a store gets a new concept.
RetailOps Denmark repaints retail interiors at night or before opening, so the store does not have to close. We protect stock, fixtures and floors, match your brand colours, and use low-odour paint so the store can open the next morning.
Commercial painting for every kind of premises.
We are not only store painters. As a commercial painting contractor we also paint:
- Showrooms and flagships, where the finish has to be perfect
- Offices and meeting rooms, at weekends so nobody loses a working day
- Warehouses, stockrooms and staff areas
- Premises before a lease handover, to the landlord's checklist, often together with our clearance and cleaning
- Touch-ups after a derig, once fixtures and signs are removed
We work in Copenhagen and all of Denmark, and painting can also run as planned maintenance every month or quarter.
What we paint.
- Sales floor walls and columns. Full repaints or touch-ups.
- Brand colour updates. Feature walls and zones painted to your colour codes.
- Fitting rooms. Walls, doors and frames.
- Back-of-house. Stockrooms, staff areas and corridors.
- Fixtures and plinths. Touch-ups of painted fixtures, plinths and window boxes.
- Small exterior touch-ups. Door frames and areas we can reach safely. Facades that need scaffolding are quoted separately.
One night, one clean store.
- Colours and areas. You send the colour codes, the paint specification if you have one, and photos or a plan of the areas.
- Preparation. Graphics and hooks are removed, holes filled and surfaces sanded and cleaned.
- Protection. Floors, fixtures and stock are covered. Stock near the work area is moved and put back.
- Painting. Walls are painted in the right number of coats for good coverage.
- Drying and airing. We plan drying time before opening and air the store.
- Clean-up. Protection removed, everything put back, floors cleaned and photos sent.
Your brand, exactly.
Brand colours are specified for a reason, and a slightly wrong shade on a feature wall is visible next to the brand's graphics. Send us the colour codes in the system your brand uses, and the paint product if your guide specifies one. We match it, and we test a patch when the colour is critical.
Where your guide allows a choice of finish, we recommend durable, washable finishes for sales floors, because they keep looking good longer.
Painting around customers and stock.
Most of our repaints are in stores that open the next morning. That is why we plan the work in zones, use low-odour paint and leave enough time for drying.
If the whole store cannot be done in one night, we split it over several nights and leave every finished zone clean and ready to trade.
The same colour in every store.
When a brand changes its colours across a market, every store has to be updated in the same way. We plan the stores as one programme, use the same products and the same method in each, and send photos per store so head office can check the result.
Clean air, safe ladders.
We use low-odour, water-based paints wherever the specification allows, proper ladders and platforms for high walls, and we keep walkways clear.
We are insured with If Skadeforsikring.
Information for a repaint.
- Photos or a plan of the areas to paint, with approximate wall heights
- The colour codes and, if your guide specifies it, the paint product and finish
- Opening hours and when we can work
- Whether stock and fixtures can be moved, and by whom
- Any building rules on noise, smell or ventilation
If you are not sure of the colours, send a photo of an existing wall in good light, and we help you identify the right codes with your brand team.
Choosing the right finish for a store.
Retail walls need paint that survives cleaning and contact. A very matt finish looks elegant but marks easily; a high-gloss finish is durable but shows every imperfection in the wall.
For sales floors, we usually recommend a washable, low-sheen wall paint that can be wiped without leaving shiny patches. For doors, frames and plinths, a harder enamel finish lasts longer. Back-of-house areas, where trolleys and boxes hit the walls daily, benefit from the most durable finish available.
Where your brand guide specifies the product and finish, we follow it. Where it does not, we recommend options and let you decide.
Touch-ups between repaints.
Not every wall needs a full repaint. After a reset or a fixture move, there are often holes, scuffs and outlines of old fixtures on the walls. We can fill and touch up those areas in the same visit, using your colours, so the store looks finished when the new layout opens.
Typical painting jobs.
Brand colour update
A brand changes the colour of its feature walls across Denmark. We repaint one store per night, using the same paint product in every store, and send photos so head office can compare stores side by side.
Refresh before a store visit
A regional manager is visiting next week, and the walls behind the cash desk and in the fitting rooms are worn. We fill, sand and repaint the areas overnight, and the store opens the next morning without a smell of paint.
Back-of-house
Stockrooms and staff areas are often forgotten. We repaint them during a quiet period, with shelving and stock moved and put back, so staff get a better place to work.
Why preparation is most of the job.
A paint job only looks as good as the surface underneath it. In stores, that surface has usually seen years of graphics, tape, hooks, fixtures and knocks.
Before we paint, we remove old adhesive and fixings, fill holes and dents, sand the repairs smooth and clean the walls. Where the old colour is very different from the new one, we prime first so the new colour covers evenly. This preparation takes more time than the painting itself, and it is what makes the result last.
How a repaint is planned.
- Request. You send the areas, the colour codes and the preferred dates.
- Quote. We confirm the scope, the number of nights and the paint products in a fixed written quote.
- Before the night. Paint is ordered and colour-matched, and access is agreed with the store.
- The night. Preparation, protection, painting, drying and airing.
- The morning after. Photos of the finished areas and the store handed back clean.
Why brands choose us for painting.
There are larger contractors in Denmark, and there are cheaper ones. Brands and agencies choose RetailOps Denmark for store painting because of how the work is run:
- Our own crew. The people on your job work for us, not for a subcontractor we found the day before.
- Our own vans and warehouse. Kits, fixtures and materials can be received, stored and delivered by us, from Albertslund, so nothing depends on a third party on the night.
- Written scope. Every job has a written quote with the scope, the crew size and the time window. What is in the quote is what happens on site.
- English on site. Your project manager can talk to the crew lead directly in English, at any hour of the night.
- Photos as proof. Every job ends with photos, so you can sign off without travelling to Denmark.
- One company behind it. RetailOps Denmark is a business unit of Get It All Service ApS, CVR 36730595, with an office and warehouse in Albertslund and insurance with If Skadeforsikring.
What decides the price.
- The wall area and ceiling height
- How much preparation the walls need
- The number of colours and coats
- Whether stock and fixtures need to be moved
- Working time: overnight, early morning or a closed store
- The number of stores in the programme
You get a fixed written quote with a job reference, normally within one working day.
